Report on Yesterday, Mar 27

I did a good job, and took my vitamin at breakfast yesterday.  I'm not snacking mindlessly, so that's good, and I'm not sitting on my rumpus, bored.

I didn't do a good job drinking water yesterday.  I also am down to just a few apples and a banana, which I'm saving for the kids.  Payday is coming up and I'll be able to stock up on fresh fruits and veggies.  Oh, I do have a veggie tray in my fridge for tomorrow night's get together...

I'm looking at how to shop for groceries with my husband underway.  I'm hoping I'll get to spend a little less, but still come home with healthier choices.  We'll see.

Thanks for keeping up with me.  I'll be posting weight updates on Wednesday next week, but I'm going to try to check in with a report for each day.

I smiled about spending less when the hubby is gone. I find I worry less about making traditional dinners when the hubby is gone.

Deployments make weight loss easy (at least I think so). You can eat what you want and you tend to be going non-stop with the kids, you don't have time to sit around. When DH went to land, I packed on 15 lbs in the first 3 mos. Yikes!

I'll be checking in daily to see your progress. Here's to a healthier you.

Hey, Amber! I'm here with you! Remember to shop the outside of the grocery store - all the fresh stuff! You probably won't save a ton of money on getting the healthy stuff, but you'll save some - avoid the processed, prepared stuff and go for the healthy things in the outer aisles!

I'll be sending you "stay strong" vibes from up here in Kodiak!

Thanks, Becca! I'd been doing the perimeter shopping before the move, then got off track trying to just pick up what we needed to make it. Great reminder!!! :)

Thanks, y'all! <3
