Oy.

The view is not so spectacular.  I have been at 189.5 - 190.5 for the last few weeks.  Ugh.  Gotta find a new something to add/change.  I'll be incorporating some more strenuous workouts, emphasizing my cardio, and really working on drinking more.

Keep pushing me.  This plateau is really getting me down.  I'm not going to give up, even though I'd love to.  I've got a size 8 bathing suit to get into, after all!

Good luck Amber!

It will happen for you! I hate that our bodies do that. I guess you got to shake your body up every few weeks.

What about decreasing cardio and actually slowing your pace? Sometimes, walking or running/ellipticalling (LOL) for longer at a much slower pace will burn fat. Cardio won't do that if your heart rate is too high.

Also, don't be discouraged about the plateau. This is your body's way of taking a breath and regulating. If you lose too much too fast, with no plateau, you are more likely to gain the weight back. I know it's frustrating, but hang in there. You will see results. You may still be losing inches and toning, but not losing pounds.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the update, I've been wondering how you are doing. YOU are the one motivating some of us, and I get nervous when I don't hear from you. :)

I agree, a plateau is a good thing for a short time.

Another thought, have you been doing light weight training? That might help get you off on a new foot. DH has a good workout recommendation, if you are interested. Very simple.

Hey, ladies! It's been quiet over here for a while. Just checking in to see how things are going!
